Pricing and Payment
People suffering from depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses often hesitate to seek treatment. While working to decrease the stigma around mental health illness, Weston Psychiatric also strives to make mental health evaluations and therapy accessible, confidential, and financially possible. Weston Psychiatric accepts cash, check, credit card, debit card, self-pay, Medicare, and commercial health insurance. At this time, Weston Psychiatric does not accept Medicaid.

Weston Psychiatric therapists accept the following commercial health insurance plans:
Authorization for Therapy & Counseling
Patients with other health insurance plans may qualify for out-of-network provider coverage. Weston Psychiatric encourages patients to contact their insurance carriers to determine the specific plan coverage for behavioral health services. To assist patients, Weston Psychiatric’s intake coordinator will complete a verification of benefits. The intake coordinator also will obtain any necessary authorization for mental health therapy and counseling prior to the patient’s initial appointment.
Insurance Reimbursement for Treatment
Some patients choose to participate in mental health therapy sessions regardless of insurance coverage. They pay upfront for an evaluation, psychiatry services, and psychotherapy sessions. Weston Psychiatric provides an invoice of these services, termed a “superbill” by insurance companies. The health insurance provider reimburses the patients for eligible mental health services. This billing process eliminates the need to call insurance providers to determine which mental health services are covered.
Direct Pay for Psychiatry & Psychotherapy
Alternatively, some patients choose to pay out-of-pocket for mental health services without submitting insurance claims. They may not want a mental health diagnosis recorded in their insurance history or want to avoid the complication of insurance coverage. Weston Psychiatric consults with patients personally to explain pricing and payment options.
Bundle Services into a Discount Package
Patients receiving mental health services can save money by grouping sessions together into a package. Instead of registering for individual therapy sessions, patients schedule a clinical evaluation and 3-6 follow-up sessions. Based on their mental health needs, patients can select psychiatry, psychotherapy, or medication-maintenance packages.
Save 30% By Seeing an In-Training Therapist
In addition to discounted mental health packages, Weston Psychiatric offers an additional way to save on therapy. Patients save 30% by scheduling therapy with an in-training mental health clinician. In-training clinicians provide mental health treatment while completing hours toward their licensure. They work under the direct supervision of an experienced and fully licensed provider.
